Well tonigh Brendan's nurse gave us some great news ...he will be coming home soon...like maybe Saturday soon. Like 4 days from now soon..YIKES! He will be coming home on oxygen and a monitor all of which the hospital will train us on how to use and things like that. The thing is this is all so overwhelming. This whole NICU journey has been overwhelming.. I was ready for a 3 week early baby not an 11 week early baby. I was ready for a baby to come home without ozygen and here we are preparing to bring home a baby on oxygen. So tonight Devin and I ran out and bought some essentials to prepare for Brendan coming home. We got the monitor for his room its pretty cool...its a video monitor with night vision. So I can watch Brendan at all times! This past weekend we put together the furniture for Brendan's room and tonight we arranged it all so I can wash all his clothes, put away all his clothes and organize all the other assorted items in his room.
So soon my baby boy will be home...soon.. and I am soooooo excited yet so nervous.
